Helen has practiced law for over 15 years with leading international and domestic law firms, including Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP (New York), Schulz Noack Baerwinkel (Germany) Shanghai Office and Jun He Law offices. Before joining the firm, she practiced with Chicago based Firm McDermott Will Emery LLP Shanghai Office as corporate partner. She has extensive experiences in relation to IP, international trading and investment matters for prestigious multinationals with and in China.

Social Honor
Helen is the member of the New York Bar Association, Inter-Pacific Bar Association and All China Lawyers Association. She is the first Ph.D. graduate of Fudan University Law School in legal history area and the first Mainland Chinese woman lawyer to be elected as Vice-Chair of the Women Business Lawyers Committee of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association.

Acted as leading IP legal counsel and negotiation lawyer for Shanghai Disney Resort Project

Advised on one PRC state own listing company to deal with international sales and negotiation of foreign licensed IP product, and provided complex legal memos under PRC and New York State law

Representation of a well-known US company on FCPA and commercial bribery cases, and successfully obtaining the vast majority returns of the administrative fine which had been submitted and exemption from criminal liability

Advised on various issues regarding its investment projects in media and publishing area under the relevant Chinese law for BAUER Publishing Group, German

Retained as a main legal counsel for technology of patent and copyright transfer involving millions of US Dollars for STMicoelectronics

Advised ThyssenKrupp on overall legal review of activities of Research & Development Center and Call Center

Advised a U.S. Fortune 500 company in a merger & acquisition involving several hundred million US Dollars

Acted as the key counsel for a leading global company in the negotiation of import for high-tech television production lines to Shanghai joint venture company and technology transfer involving millions of US Dollars
