Representative Cases
- Panasonic-Sanyo merger
In the landmark merger between Panasonic Corporation (“Panasonic”) and Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd. (“Sanyo”), Zhong Lun was retained by both parties to assist them to handle anti-monopoly matters in China. On October 30, 2009, the Ministry of Commerce (“MOFCOM”) announced that it conditionally approved the merger. Zhong Lun was further retained to assist the parties in their implementation of the remedial measures stipulated by MOFCOM.(2009) - Acquisition of Jiangsu Tongda Co., Ltd. by S.C.
