Structured Finance & Securitization

Zhong Lun has pioneered several groundbreaking securitization transactions in China, including the first PRC onshore credit assets securitization, the first onshore non-performing loan securitization and the first offshore CMBS project.

Zhong Lun’s securitization group is active in commercial and residential mortgage-backed securities, sale and lease back securitization transactions, receivables securitizations, automobile loan securitizations and other pooled investment vehicles. In connection with such transactions, we have represented issuers, originators, underwriters, investment advisers, asset managers, investors, and government agencies.

We actively participated in legislation on securitization. We work closely with other industry players, including the China Banking Regulatory Commission and other regulators through the China Securitization Forum, a platform established by Zhong Lun and other leading domestic and foreign participants in the securitization industry. Zhong Lun is honored to act as the secretariat for the Forum.
