Zhong Lun Launches London Office 2012-05-15

Zhong Lun Law Firm is pleased to announce that the law firm has launched its London Office on May 2, 2012 at the prestigious Chancery Court Hotel, London.

The widely acclaimed launch consists of a seminar on “China’s role in achieving a soft landing for the global economy: legal perspectives on inbound and outbound trade and investment between China, the UK and Europe”, followed by a cocktail reception with over 200 guests.

Mr. Zhou Xiaoming, Minister Counsellor of the Commercial Section of the Chinese Embassy in the UK, and Mr Mark Boleat, Deputy Policy Chairman of City of London, made warm-hearted speeches at the launch reception, highly praising the role of Zhong Lun Law Firm London Office in developing and strengthening the business and economic relationship between China and the UK. This is followed by Mr Robert Lewis, a managing partner of Zhong Lun Law Firm, announcing the official launch of the London Office.

Ms. Wang Lihua Mr. Robert Lewis (Beijing Office), Mr. Carl Cheng, Mr. Zhou Yun and Mr. Yang Wantao (Shanghai Office), Ms. Linna Li, Ms. Emily Wang and Mr Xue Haibin (London Office) made presentations on a wide spectrum of topics in the seminar, such as real estates, M&A, Intellectual Properties, PE, offshore RMB investment. It was also announced at the seminar that Mr. Carl Cheng, a former partner of the Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer Shanghai Office, would join our Shanghai Office as a partner.
